Welcome To My 2005 SPAAMFA Site Hi I Am Jim Duell From Perry, NY And Today, We Will Be Traveling East To The City Of Syracuse Where The 2005 Addition Of The Antique Fire Equipment Show & Swap Meet Is Being Held On The Northern Shores Of Onondaga Lake At Long Branch Park. There Could Be Like 500 Or Better Pieces Of Antique Fire Apparatus Here For Display. GREAT DAY FOR SHOOTING While Spending The Day At The Holiday Inn In Syracuse Taking Over 600 Pictures, It Was A Hot Day With Clouds Running In And Out Of The Beautiful Blue Sky. At Times The Sun Was So Bright That It Was Hard Getting Some Of The Pictures That I Wanted. I Hate Shooting Toward The Sun Light. I Did A Couple Of Times And Thank God For My Konica Minolta Software To Lighten Up The Photos To Be Able To See Them Instead Of A Big Black Spot. This Convention Will Be Here In Syracuse Again In 2008 For The 150th Anniversary Of SPAAMFAA. Will Sure Be Here Then !! COME BACK IN 2008 !!! After spending all day Friday here I really wanted to stay here for the big parade in the morning. The festival and Muster will be a great attraction for a lot of firemen who spend the whole 4 days here. I would like very much to come back in 2008 when it will be again here in Syracuse only come on Friday & Saturday for the grand parade and show. After This Show Ends Tomorrow, There Will Be A Antique Truck Historical Society ( ATHS ) Show At The Genesee County Fairgrounds In Batavia, NY On Sunday August 07, 2005. I Will Surly Be Their Taking Another 5 To 600 Pictures Of All The Vehicals And Prize Winners For The Local Western New York Chapter. It Starts Around 11:00 AM Till 4:00 PM. There Will Be 8 Catagories Of Judging. With 8 Trophies. Come And See All The Best Looking Antique Trucks, Tractors & Construction Vehicals Going Back To The Early 1900's. Then On September 24 & 25 There Will Be An Antique Truck Show Being Held At The Saratoga County Fairgrounds in Ballston Spa, NY. This Is Being Put On By The Hudson - Mohawk Region ATHS Chapter. I Will Be There On That Weekend For The Adirondack Balloon Festival In Queensbury, NY And Before Heading Back Home On Sunday We Will Stop And Visit The Show At The Fairgrounds. |
